Khali Yoga Center

Meet Our Team

A community of leaders aligned in purpose, practice and heart.

The Khali Crew

Meet the devoted teachers and team members of Khali Yoga. Each brings their own depth and devotion to the mat, yet together we move in the same direction: to meet you where you are, support your practice, and inspire your growth in presence and purpose.

We’re a wild and wonderful mix of teachers, seekers, healers, and organizers devoted to yoga and its place in everyday life. What binds us isn’t just the practice—it’s the way we live it through laughter, devotion, curiosity, and connection.

Ian: Teacher Development, Teacher, Assistant, Leader of Trainings

A steady force and a poetic soul. Ian has been showing up to his mat for decades with deep devotion and unshakable consistency. His classes feel like rhythm and breath had a baby named Discipline. He doesn’t just teach yoga; he embodies it. Through his own devotion, Ian inspires others to live from their limitless energy and to trust the call forward.

Sabine Lawless

Sabine: Teacher Development, Teacher, Assistant

Sabine has a gift for helping people feel both lighter in body and grounded in truth. Her life is rooted in ritual and reverence, from honoring seasonal shifts to creating moments of ceremony in daily living. She lives with the knowledge that the body is a sacred tool, a bridge to the divine, and an ever-present invitation to live fully.

John: General Manager

John is Khali’s warm welcome, and the front desk is his pulpit to preach light, laughter and connection. He remembers your name, your story, and the details that make you feel seen. A true testifier of joy, growth and endless possibility, John manages the daily operations of Khali with a deep devotion to the heart of yoga.

Jess: Lead Assistant, Front Desk, Plant Mama

Jess is stardust and strength in one body. She has walked through fire and found her softness on the other side. Astrology is her love language, and intuition is her superpower. When she assists, her presence lands like an anchor, strong, grounded, and tender enough to remind you that power and sensitivity can absolutely share the same skin.

Kee: Teacher, Assistant

Kee is equal parts wonder and wisdom. He’s the one asking the questions and reminding everyone that curiosity is sacred. His humor connects, his presence grounds, and his assists land like truth — clear, kind, and right on time. Kee is a seeker, a friend, and a student of being alive.

Molly: Teacher, Assistant

Molly was called to yoga by life itself — a wake-up moment that opened her heart to the short and beautiful mess of being human. She approaches her practice with curiosity and courage, sharing what she learns along the way with the belief that everyone has their own brilliance waiting to bloom.

Maisee: Assistant

Maisee moves with the grace of someone who has truly studied the human body, not just its mechanics but its magic. Her assists are artful, steady, and full of quiet wisdom. She listens with her hands, responds with presence, and brings a professional calm that somehow makes the whole room exhale.

Lindsey: Mother of Khali, Teacher, Leader of Trainings

A truth-teller with a twinkle in her eye. Lindsey teaches yoga that sticks — in your bones, in your heart, and in your day. She’s all about what’s real — movement you can feel, words that matter, and laughter that sneaks in right when you need it most. A dedicated student, intuitive listener, and believer in the power of presence.

Chris Wilson

Chris: Team Development, Teacher, Leader of Trainings

Chris moves through the world like a ceremony — rooted, reverent, and awake. His connection to nature runs deep, and his teaching carries the ancient wisdom found in texts, traditions, and the natural world. In his classes, Chris makes the profound feel simple and growth feel inevitable. He is a living reminder that yoga isn’t something you do; it’s something you become.

Cashew

Cashew: A Good Boy

Cashew is the quiet healer with a mischievous streak and a strong sense of purpose. He doesn’t come when called; he comes when called. Cashew roams the studio like a four-legged sage, checking in with the souls who need him most, then settles in the middle of the rug like a soft mountain you gently step over. A poodle with presence and priorities.

Indie

Indie: Shedder of Fears

Indie is mystery made manifest, a ball python who found her second chance at Khali and never looked back. She is an invitation to examine fear, curiosity, and the stories we tell about danger and beauty.
