Teacher Training - Payment Agreement

This Payment Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between Khali Yoga Center ("the Center") and the undersigned participant ("Student") for the 250 Hour Teacher Training Program ("Program"). By signing this Agreement, the Student agrees to the following payment terms and conditions.

1. Program Overview

• Program Name: Spring Teacher Training Program

• Program Dates: March 20th – May 17th, 2026

• Location: Khali Yoga Center

• Total Program Tuition: $3900 (for full payment option)

2. Payment Plan Options

The Student agrees to pay the total tuition for the Program in one of the following payment plans:

6-Month Payment Plan

• Deposit: A one-time, non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to secure your spot in the Program.

• Remaining Balance: After the deposit, the remaining balance will be split into 6 monthly payments of $600 each.

• Payment Schedule: Payments will be automatically drafted each month (starting one month from the date of deposit) using the card provided for the deposit.

• Total Tuition: $500 (Deposit) + $600 x 6 payments = $4100 (Total for the 6-Month Plan)

12-Month Payment Plan

• Deposit: A one-time, non-refundable deposit of $400 is required to secure your spot in the Program.

• Remaining Balance: After the deposit, the remaining balance will be split into 12 monthly payments of $325 each.

• Payment Schedule: Payments will be automatically drafted each month (starting one month from the date of deposit) using the card provided for the deposit.

• Total Tuition: $400 (Deposit) + $325 x 12 payments = $4300 (Total for the 12-Month Plan)

Pay in Full Option

• Full Payment: If the Student opts to pay the full tuition upfront, the total cost is $3900, payable immediately upon signing this Agreement.

• Payment: The full payment is due at the time of enrollment and must be paid in full prior to the start of the Program.

3. Non-Refundable Deposit Policy

• Deposit: The deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances, regardless of the reason for withdrawal. This applies to both the 6-month and 12-month payment plans.

• Withdrawal or Cancellation: If the Student decides to withdraw or discontinue their participation in the Teacher Training Program at any point:

  • The deposit will not be refunded.

  • Any payments made (including full payment or payments made under a payment plan) are non-refundable.

  • The remaining tuition balance will still be due, and the Student agrees to continue making monthly payments according to their selected payment plan until the balance is paid in full.

• Cancellation by Khali Yoga Center: If Khali Yoga Center cancels the Program, the Student will be refunded all amounts paid, including the deposit, provided no training sessions have occurred.

4. Automatic Payment and Service Fees

• Automatic Drafts: Payments for the 6-month and 12-month payment plans will be automatically charged to the Student's card on file each month until the tuition is paid in full.

• Failed Payment: If any monthly payment fails (due to insufficient funds, expired card, etc.), the Student will be charged a $20 service fee for each failed attempt. The Student will be required to update their payment information promptly to avoid further interruptions in their enrollment.

• Late Payments: If payments are not made within 7 days of the scheduled payment date, the Student's participation in the Program may be suspended until the payment is made in full.

5. Misconduct or Mental Fitness Assessment

• Misconduct or Mental Fitness: In the event that Khali Yoga Center determines, based on a leadership assessment or mental fitness evaluation, that the Student is not fit to continue in the Program due to misconduct, mental health issues, or behavior deemed detrimental to the training environment, the Student may be asked to leave the Program.

• Tuition Due: In this case, the Student will only owe for the portion of the Program they were allowed to complete. The remaining balance of their tuition will be adjusted accordingly based on the percentage of the Program completed up to the point of their removal.

6. Student Responsibility for Completion of Program

• Assignments and Attendance: The Student acknowledges that it is their responsibility to:

  • Complete all required assignments and coursework.

  • Attend all necessary training sessions and participate fully in the Program.

  • Manage their attendance and ensure that they meet all graduation requirements.

• No Refunds for Failure to Graduate: Khali Yoga Center will not provide refunds for students who do not qualify for graduation due to incomplete assignments, insufficient attendance, or failure to meet the Program requirements.

7. Use of Name and Likeness

The Student grants Khali Yoga Center permission to use their name, image, and likeness in any promotional materials, photos, or videos taken during the Program for marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes. If the Student does not wish to have their likeness used, they must notify the Center in writing prior to the start of the Program.

8. Limitation of Liability

Khali Yoga Center is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to the Student’s personal property during the Program. The Student acknowledges that participating in physical activities such as yoga involves inherent risks and agrees to assume all responsibility for their health, safety, and well-being while participating in the Program.

9. Dispute Resolution

• Arbitration: In the event of any dispute or claim arising from or related to this Agreement, the parties agree to resolve the matter through binding arbitration. The arbitration will take place in Mecklenburg County, Charlotte, North Carolina, and will be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.

• Mediation: Prior to resorting to arbitration, the parties agree to attempt to resolve the dispute through mediation.

10. Indemnification

The Student agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Khali Yoga Center, its employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising from their participation in the Program, including any claims related to personal injury, property damage, or violation of any laws or regulations.

11. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes any prior discussions, representations, or agreements, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter hereof. This Agreement may be amended only in writing and signed by both parties.

12. Agreement to Terms

By signing below, the Student acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined in this Payment Agreement, including the non-refundable deposit policy, payment plan options, and the responsibilities outlined in the Student Responsibility, Misconduct, and Dispute Resolution sections.
