Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to have a certain amount of yoga experience to participate in this training?

Yes, you should have some yoga experience before joining this training. It’s important to be confident in the basic alignment of the most common yoga poses and to have enough practice under your belt to comfortably complete the long format classes within our training. This program isn’t designed for those who are just beginning to practice yoga.

Will there be make-up sessions offered?

Yes, each trainee is allowed to miss up to 12 hours of the training. To make up any missed hours, you’ll need to complete them on an hour-by-hour basis through additional practice teaching, assisting, or on-the-mat practice. Make-up hours are your responsibility to arrange and will be available at no additional charge. If you anticipate needing to miss more than 12 hours, we encourage you to consider future training dates instead.

Should I participate in this training even if I don’t ever plan on teaching yoga?

This program is designed to train future yoga teachers so if you do not intend to teach yoga this might not be the training for you.
