Class Types
At Khali, our yoga classes are intentionally crafted to move along a full energetic spectrum—from the fire of effort to the spaciousness of stillness. Together, they create balance in body and mind, helping you grow through every practice. Experience them all and feel how each class supports deeper connection within.
Outdoor/Indoor
For Outdoor/Indoor classes (offered April through October), the garage doors open to blend the studio with the open air, offering the choice to practice beneath the roof or outside on our patio oasis. The temperature follows the rhythm of the elements, creating a naturally grounding experience.
Hot Vinyasa
Hot Vinyasa (pronounced vuh·nyaa·suh) classes offer a playful and energetic environment for self-discovery, welcome to all levels.
Held in an intentionally heated 102°F room with infrared heat to promote circulation, reduce inflammation, and strengthen immunity, these classes provide both physical and energetic benefits.
These classes challenge your body, energize your spirit, and create a space for playful self-discovery. You’ll build strength, find balance, and lengthen and twist your body—all while cultivating presence and space. Our teachers offer modifications and alignment cues to support everybody, bringing their full presence to guide your growth with authenticity and care.

Hatha Yoga
Hatha (pronounced HAH·tah) Yoga is a practice that honors the balance of energies within us: Ha = sun, the warming, active, vital principle, and Tha = moon, the cooling, receptive, and reflective principle. The purpose of Hatha Yoga is to create balance and integration between these opposing but complementary forces through the coordinated use of asana (postures) and pranayama (breath regulation).
During class, postures are held for 5–10 breaths, giving beginners time to build confidence in alignment while allowing experienced students to deepen their practice.
Each Hatha Yoga class concludes with a seated pranayama practice, guiding students toward steadiness of breath and deeper awareness.

Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga classes offer a calm, restorative environment to experience the transformative power of stillness. Each class features a sequence of passive poses held for 3–5 minutes, suitable for all ages, body types, and abilities.
This restorative approach helps release tension, soothe the nervous system, and enhance flexibility, while emphasizing easeful, rhythmic breathing. Experienced instructors guide you in setting up each pose using yoga props, such as bolsters and blocks, to fully support rest and relaxation.

Sound Bath Meditation
Immerse yourself in a full-body listening experience with Khali Yoga Center’s Sound Bath Meditation. Guided by the resonance of native instruments, singing bowls, percussion, and chimes, this practice invites deep relaxation and the therapeutic harmony of sound. Open to all levels—no meditation experience required. Please dress comfortably and bring a yoga mat and blanket to support your rest.
