Yoga Classes

Vinyasa

(pronounced vuh·nyaa·suh)

Khali Yoga Center’s vinyasa classes offer a playful and energetic environment for self discovery welcome to all levels.
In these classes you will build strength, find your balance, lengthen and twist your body all with an emphasis on breath, freedom and space.
Expect each vinyasa class to follow a similar format and sequence designed for all ages, body types and physical abilities. Our teachers are trained to offer modification and alignment options that encourage your growth. By the end of your practice you will leave feeling both challenged and fulfilled no matter what your level of experience.
Our Khali Yoga Center teachers bring their whole selves to each class in a teaching style that is authentic, connected and as uniquely individual as each of our teachers.
The environment of the classroom is mirror-free, music-free and technology-free. We intentionally heat the room to 102 degrees using infrared heat which has many benefits including increased circulation, reduced inflammation and increased immunity strength.
Advance registration through the Khali Yoga Center app is encouraged for all classes.

Slow Flow

Khali Yoga Center’s Slow Flow classes offer a gentle and relaxed environment focused on synchronizing your movements with full and rhythmic breath.

Expect each Slow Flow class to integrate a balance of both active strengthening and gentle stretches taught at a consciously slow tempo.
Our Khali Yoga Center teachers are expertly trained to offer modification and alignment options to encourage your growth no matter what your experience level. The environment of the classroom is mirror-free, music free and technology-free with a room temperature of 75-80 degrees.

Deep Stretch

Khali Yoga Center’s Deep Stretch classes offer a calm and restorative environment to experience the transformative power of stillness. Each Deep Stretch class blends a sequence of passive yoga poses, held for 3-5 minutes, suited for individuals of all ages, body types, and physical capabilities.

This restorative approach helps to release tension, soothe the nervous system, and enhance flexibility while emphasizing easeful and rhythmic breathing.
 Our experienced instructors will guide you in setting up each pose and utilizing yoga props, such as bolsters and blocks, to support your rest and relaxation.
 The environment of the classroom is mirror-free, music free and technology-free with a room temperature of 75-80 degrees.

Guided Meditation

Establish a regular meditation practice with over 38 weekly opportunities for guided meditations. Crafted by our teaching staff, these pre-recorded sessions center your focus on the present moment and guide you through the transformative practice of self-observation. Held in our supportive meditation room, all sessions feature immersive surround sound, beginning promptly as scheduled. Participants are encouraged to arrive 10 minutes early for a seamless start and mindful consideration of others.

Open to all levels, our guided meditations require no prior experience. To ensure maximum comfort, we provide the necessary props such as bolsters and meditation cushions located conveniently outside the classroom. As these meditations are seated, yoga mats are optional and not required.

Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra, an ancient meditative practice, offers an opportunity to pause and create conscious release. Known as yogic sleep, Yoga Nidra guides students to a realm between waking awareness and sleep, unlocking the potential for abundant healing.

Accompanied by the restorative sound of crystal bowls, native flutes and an array of other instruments played live by our in house musicians this class is sure to guide you to a deep state of relaxation. Yoga Nidra yields numerous benefits including stress reduction, anxiety relief, improved sleep quality, and overall well-being.

Yoga Nidra  is welcome to participants of all levels, regardless of prior meditation experience. To ensure maximum comfort, we provide necessary props such as bolsters and blocks located conveniently outside the classroom. Please dress comfortably, and bring a yoga mat and a blanket to use during meditation. Yoga mats are available to rent at the front desk for $3.

In order to offer adequate prop availability, Yoga Nidra class attendance is limited. Advance registration is encouraged.

Asana Roots

Khali Yoga Center’s Asana Roots classes offer a small classroom environment for discovering and deepening your understanding of the foundation of yoga practice. This is your opportunity to learn some of the nuanced details of yoga that can’t aways be covered in large group classes.

In Asana Roots, your teacher will help you grasp the pose details, guide you through muscle-strengthening drills, and let you practice incorporating what you’ve learned into a yoga flow.

Each Asana Roots class follows a consistent format suitable for all ages, body types, and abilities. Expect to leave each session feeling both challenged and fulfilled, regardless of your experience level.

The knowledge gained here applies to all of our classes, making it valuable for both students and teachers of yoga.

The environment of these classes is music-free, mirror-free and technology-free. The classroom temperature is set to 75 degrees and class size is limited to 11 students. Advance registration is encouraged.

Sound Bath Experiences

Join us for a deeply-immersive sound infused class with Khali Yoga Center’s Sound Bath experiences. Enjoy our popular offerings enhanced by live music from our in-house musicians, featuring an array of instruments including native flutes, chimes, indigenous drums, and sound bowls to name a few. Explore our schedule to find classes titled “Sound Bath” and uncover those featuring live music. We currently offer 2 Sound Bath experiences a week. 

Beats Classes

Check out our schedule for classes labeled “Beats”. These classes are paired with curated playlists of invigorating tunes and ambient sounds, creating an unforgettable sensory journey. We offer two of these experiences every week. 

Outdoor/Indoor Classes

From April to October annually, we open our practice space’s garage doors to our beautiful outdoor patio oasis. We offer Deep Stretch, Slow Flow and Vinyasa classes as dual “Outdoor/Indoor” options as specified on our schedule. In our unique setup, you have the flexibility to choose whether you’d like to practice indoors or out of our patio. Our seamless indoor and outdoor areas ensure clear visibility and audibility of the teacher regardless of where you place your mat. The environment of our Indoor/Outdoor classes is chosen daily by Mother Nature.

New Teacher Classes

Come experience our newest teachers as they offer vinyasa*, slow flow and deep stretch classes in the cozy setting of our training room. These classes are designed to give you a small class setting with an emphasis on individual attention, guidance and connection. All of our new teachers have completed a Khali Yoga Center Teacher Training and are ready to share their love for yoga. Come, get to know our newest team members and experience the enthusiasm, fresh perspectives and fun that these classes have to offer.
